MONTREAL MUSEUM OF FINE ARTS
Founded in 1860, The Museum of Fine Arts is Montreal’s oldest art institution and largest museum. Works by artists such as Van Gogh, Monet and other well recognized names are housed in two buildings.
Hours of operation: Tuesday to Friday 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, closed on Monday.

MONTREAL BIODOME
The Montreal Biodome hosts four different ecosystems found across the Americas and is home to over 4000 animals from macaws to penguins. The building was originally the 1976 Olympics cycling and judo venue.

MONTREAL BOTANICAL GARDEN
Covering 185 acres this is one of the worlds largest botanical gardens. It offers 30 distinct gardens including Japanese, Chinese and Canadian gardens and over 22,000 species of plants.

MONTREAL HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL CENTER
The Montreal Holocaust Memorial Center was founded in 1979 by a group of Holocaust survivors. It is home to more than 400 artifacts and testamonies. Montreal has the third largest holocaust survivor population in the world.

MCCORD MUSEUM
Located in McGill University’s old student union building, the McCord Museum follows Canada’s history back 10,000 years. With over 900,000 objects to see including archaeological artifacts, textiles, photos, and paintings, it is a must see!

REDPATH MUSEUM
Open since 1882, the Redpath Museum hosts a hodgepodge of artifacts from prehistoric to modern times. Objects include Egyptian antiquities, prehistoric animals, samurai armor and precious stones.

MUSEE D’ART CONTEMPORIAN DE MONTREAL
Showcasing work from more than 1500 artists this is the largest museum of contemporary art in Canada. Over 7000 pieces of art are on display.
