If you’re planning a trip to Montréal this summer and love French music, June is the time to go!
The largest French music event in the world – Les FrancoFolies de Montréal – runs June 9 through June 19 this year. The event will feature over 1000 French language music artists, composers and performers from over 12 countries.
Les FrancoFolies de Montréal is an internationally renowned celebration of French music and attracts close to a million of visitors every year. Just about every music genre from folk to rock, world music, hip hop and more will be represented at the event as well as performance artists.

The city will close off several blocks downtown to vehicular traffic to accommodate the event and its attendees turning Montréal into quite a block party.
Best of all, most of the more than 140 events at Les FrancoFolies de Montréal are free!
