Things to Do in Miami’s Bayfront Park

There is always something going on in downtown Miami’s Bayfront Park. From free yoga classes, live music and extreme water sports, Bayfront Park is offers something for everyone!

Free Yoga and Self-Defense Classes

Free yoga classes are held in Bayside Park three days a week. Space is available on a first come, first serve basis so arrive a little early. All levels are welcome and you should bring your own mat.
Monday & Wednesday: 6:00pm-7:15pm
Saturday: 9:00am-10:15am

Free Self-Defense Classes for Women are held on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:15pm-8:30pm immediately following yoga. All levels of fitness are encouraged to attend and classes incorporate strengthening, aerobic activity, martial arts techniques and more.

Extreme Water Sports and Snorking

There are also quite a few extreme water sports offered from Aqua World Miami in Bayfront Park. They have parasailing flights that take customers over Key Biscayne Bay, wakeboarding and jet ski tours around the Bay as well as three and a half hour snorkeling excursions.

You can find coupons for discounts on Aqua World Miami’s services in Welcome Magazine which can be found in most tourist areas.

Bayfront Park Amphitheater

Bayfront Park is home to the Bayfront Park amphitheater. The outdoor venue sits in the park under the beautiful Miami skyline.

There is a wide variety of musical acts that play Bayfront Park Amphitheater including these upcoming shows: Robert Plant (Just 31), Goo Goo Dolls (August 14), Maroon 5 (August 19) and Tegan and Sara (September 4).

Tiki Beach Cruise

Cruise Miami’s waterways in style on a Grey Line offers a variety of sightseeing packages including: eco-tours, adventure tours and day trips. There are bus tours, walking tours, guided and self-guided tours. They also offer tours packages to local attractions and shuttle services.

Farmer’s Market

Bayfront Park hosts a seasonal farmer’s market (February through April) on Thursdays from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. It’s a great place to get fresh, quality and inexpensive food in a beautiful setting. With the park right there, it’s a great time to have a picnic with your purchases at the Farmer’s Market.

General Information

Park hours are sunrise to sunset everyday, unless there is an event.
Bayfront Park is located at 301 North Biscayne Boulevard next to Bayside Marketplace and is easily accessible by public transportation
