While the Florida Everglades National Park is typically an overnight trip, you can visit Biscayne National Park in a day trip from Miami.
Underwater Paradise
An amazing fact about Biscayne National Park is that 95% of the Park is underwater! The Park offers everything from boat rentals, to guided canoe tours, and some of the best SCUBA diving and snorkeling in the USA.

Biscayne National Park is home to many threatened and endangered species, such as “the West Indian manatee, eastern indigo snake, piping plover, American crocodile, peregrine falcon, Schaus’ swallowtail butterfly, least tern, and 5 species of sea turtle.”
Directions
By car, it takes about 60-90 minutes to get to the Park from downtown Miami. Official park directions can be found here.
