Times Square is located at the intersection of Broadway and Seventh Avenue. The main area falls between 42nd and 47th streets, though it has spread out even farther over the years and now comprises the western part of Midtown Manhattan.

Times Square hosts the most popular New Years Eve celebration in America. First began in 1907, New Year’s Eve in Times Square now draws one million people every year. In 1999, over two million people gathered in Times Square to join in the fun for the millennium celebration.
