Hurry on over to Miami for one of the largest fairs in the country – the Miami-Dade County Fair!

The Miami-Dade County Fair is affectionately known as ‘The Fair’ and this year marks its 60th anniversary. It is one of the biggest fairs in the United States and attracts more than 700,000 visitors each year.
The Fair is a lot of fun and there is enough to keep visitors busy all and day and into the night. There are 100 rides, 50 games, 170 food vendors, 50,000 exhibits, 130 merchandise shops, 15 competitions and challenges, a Mardi Gras parade every day and live entertainment.

The live entertainment at the fair is an impressive lineup. Two of the acts visitors can enjoy are: the Royal Hanneford Circus, a human acrobatic circus similar to Cirque du Soleil; and High Voltage, a blend of breakdancing, amazing stunts and rhythmic percussion.

The Miami-Dade County Fair is active in its community and every year offers more than $100,000 in college scholarships to local high school seniors.

This year, the fair runs from March 17 – April 3.
