Every summer the Metropolitan Opera puts on free performances in parks around New York City. One of the best things about the Met’s free park performances is that they are outside. People are encouraged to bring food and drinks to enjoy while at the performance.
The Met will start their free summer performances at SummerStage, one of New York City’s largest and best free events. This performance will be about two hours long, with the rest of their performances lasting about an hour long.
