I would like to know if there is a museum in Miami that has a whispering gallery and if the focal points can be identified. At this time, I am teaching the ellipse and have mentioned to my students about whispering galleries and how if you stand at one focal point and another person on the other, one individual can whisper and the other person will hear what was whispered. I am interested if there is such a gallery in any museum in Miami. Please help me. Thank you

I don’t know of any whispering galleries in Miami, but you might try calling the Miami Science Museum to see if they know.

There is one in New York City.

Will the information for the Miami Art Museum and the Historical Museum of Southern Florida be changed on this website since most of the information is inccorect and/or has changed or is this something that needs to be changed by these respective museums? The MAM is not longer the MAM and no longer at the address given. The Historical Museum of Southern Florida has a name change and a few other things have changed as well. Just wondering who changes these types of things on this web site.

Is there any museum in Miami focusing on Latino or Caribbean culture, history, or art?

    Hi Ilantha,

You may be interested in this exhibit in 2014:

I recommend looking through the exhibits at HistoryMiami:

There’s also the Centro Cultural Español:

Another place to search is this longer list of museums on Miami.com:

    Hope that helps!
